First of all you must use Internet Explorer 4 or later, since Netscape doesn't support ActiveX technology.
When you first open each of the Active Appz, your web browser will download the ActiveX program and store it in your browser's cache directory. After the first time you will not have to wait to use the Active App your browser will use the program in memory, unless we have updated a certain app. Please Have patience on you first visit. These programs are not very large and should only take a few minutes, at the most, with a slow internet connection.
Right now Active Appz is free and it will continue to be free as long as we can feed our children with the money from advertisements, so you know what to do.
