Active FTP

A simple FTP Client.

Help:

        To Connect:
            Just enter the server name or IP address, port number, username, and password.  Click the "Connect" button to connect to the desired server.

        To view the Directory List, simply click on the "LS (DIR)" Button.

        To change directories enter the disired directory into the directory box and click the "CD" button.

        To create a directory, click the "MKDIR" button and enter the desired name after the full path in the "new directory" box

        To Remove a directory just enter the directory in the directory box and click the "RMDIR" button.

        To delete a file just enter the file name in the file box, and press the "Delete" button.

        To rename a file simply enter the filename into the file box and click the rename button, then enter the desired name.

        To download a file, enter the name of the file in the file box, as well as the file in the local information and click the "Get" button.

Options:

        Unless you use a Proxy server to connect to the internet you do not need to set anything in the options.  If you do, enter the name or IP address of the proxy server and the port to connect to.  Press the "Save Settings" button to retain the settings on your computer.
